This is my favourite hotel (been there twice). The rooms are spacious and tidy, the bathrooms are super clean, the pool is lovely and the service is fantastic. If you visit Laos, this is where to stay. The surrounding area is not 5 star by any means, but it’s much safer than other parts of Laos and if you don’t let it spoil your time at namkat yorlapa resort it won’t do. I also heartily recommend Ddoung restaurant just up from the Namkat in main street for amazing food for very little money, and as always places get better and better the further you venture from Luang Prabang – worth trip.

Charming Lao is not as big as other hotels but the price is reasonable and they can arrange everything you want to do. They also have travel agents who can help you in arranging trip, visa on arrival and any kind of transportation. What i really loved was they have hostel that allow local people to travel there.
