I am searching online and made a I booked the nigh bus luang prabang to vientiane. arrived at the bus station after a tuk tuk ride cost 10.000 kip from northern bus station to city center. The bus was clean, comfortable and took us directly Vientiane bus stop serval time for toilet and eating nearly Vang vieng. Over all it was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to travel the same route.

The northern route is over the mountains and takes around 8-10 hours. This is the route that goes through Vang Vieng. There are two buses that run daily in each direction along both routes. Buses leave Luang Prabang at morning and evening; and Vientiane at 06:30 and 17:00 every night. The fare is around US$18-$22 ($1=10.000 kip).

Luang Prabang

Luang Prabang is a small city, so it’s easy to get around on foot. The main street runs through the center of town, and there are plenty of guesthouses and restaurants. Tuk-tuks can take you around town for $1-$3.

The cheapest place I found in town was View Khemkhong Guesthouse ($18/night). The location is great, staff friendly, they provide free breakfast and wifi is pretty good.

Vientiane

I stayed at the V Hotel Vientiane ($19/night) which has an excellent location and the rooms were clean. It was good value for money and the service was very good. The rooms are air-conditioned, with cable TV and a minibar. Staff were helpful in getting me organised for my trip to Vang Vieng (which apparently is one of the most popular destinations in Laos).

View Khemkhong Guesthouse (Luang prabang)

This is an excellent location, because it is close to some of the most popular sights, such as the night market and temples. more comfortable for traveler can reach by foot.

V Hotel Vientiane (Vientiane capital)

I stayed four nights at V-Hotel Vientiane during our visit to Laos. The staff were very friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was clean, the bed comfortable and there was a good choice of food for breakfast. The hotel is close to the Mekong River and a ten minute walk from the centre of Vientiane.

This is a very good hotel in the very center of Vientiane. The rooms are clean, well-equipped and spacious. Breakfast is ok. What I liked most about this hotel is its location (very close to the night market, restaurants and the Mekong) and its price. I paid only 19$ per night, which is an amazing deal for a hotel of this standard in Vientiane. I would definetly stay here again if I were to return to Laos!
